Financial planning is an evolution not a race.
In order to make sure you have a detailed and holistic financial plan that makes sense to you, we meet several times in the first year. (Yes, we realize you’ll see more of us than you’ll probably want to in the first year or two. We promise it’s worth it.)
LifeGuide Financial™ Planning Process
We know one plan doesn't fit all. That’s why we created a unique 6-step financial planning process that helps you identify your goals and plan to achieve them. In no particular order, they are:
The Financial Relief Conversation™
This is the first face-to-face meeting where we get to know each other. We talk about your bucket list, your fears and concerns, and your values. We then look at your financial documents (don’t worry, we’ll tell you what to bring beforehand) and together discuss if you’re ready for a financial plan.
First Look Snapshot™
This step gives you an overall picture of your current financial situation and whether you’re on track to reach your goals. Here we help you create a budget and, using your excess cash flow and investments, we show you how—with a bit of tweaking—you can improve your overall financial picture.
The Bucket List Gameplan™
This is where the fun really begins! In this step, we present you with an optimized financial plan—your Bucket List Gameplan™—that helps you check off that bucket list while improving your overall financial health. You’ll also walk away with a “to do” list that sets your plan in motion.
“What if” Strategies™
While you can’t predict the future, we do encourage you to be as prepared as possible for the “what ifs,” so your life—and gameplan—can stay on track. That’s why we review your current insurance policies, identify gaps and risks, and recommend amendments, if any, to your coverage.
The Money-Gameplan Connection™
The ultimate goal of this step is to come up with a saving and investment strategy that’s directly linked to your Bucket List Gameplan™. To get there, we examine your current portfolio, complete an investor profile, figure out your overall asset allocation, and make investment recommendations. Then we put those recommendations into action.
The LifeGuide Cycle™
An effective financial plan is always reviewed and reassessed. That’s why we meet with you one to three times a year (depending on your needs) to review your bucket list, re-examine your current financial situation, and update or revise your Money-Gameplan Connection™. The LifeGuide Cycle™ ensures that each step is periodically reviewed and updated; therefore you are never forgotten and never abandoned.
