LifeGuide Financial was founded with the purpose to help families achieve their financial goals every single day, so it’s only fitting that family is how Tom Moore and Scott Richardson first met.

Scott was curious about a career in finance, so he asked his mom to introduce him to her advisor, Tom. Scott’s appetite to learn was immediately apparent, and Tom loved his attitude. They kept in touch while Scott finished his degree, and then Tom exposed him to the business. Once Scott graduated, Tom hired him and the rest as they say is history.

Our goal is to give people peace of mind and confidence in their ability to make financial decisions. At the end of the day, I just want people to be able to put their head on their pillow and sleep at night.
— Scott Richardson

Tom and Scott are two different people, with different personality traits, and different perspectives, but what they have in common is their ability to come to a solution through conversation; to focus on their clients’ needs and carve out the best direction for them. This is due to their deep understanding of the realities of the financial world, but it’s also thanks to another trait they both share: they deeply want to help and take care of people.

After overhearing relatives argue over money during his great grandmother’s final moments, Tom knows wealth management can impact a family, for better or worse. He also knows that a simple, elegant plan of action can change the course of a person’s future. Scott wants to help young families gain a deeper understanding of their money and guide them into making decisions that support their security, while also leaving room for the fun stuff that makes life worthwhile. Two different perspectives, one common goal of creating a path to enduring success.
